Course Overview:

The main objective of this course is to provide insights on how to lead people weather in formal or informal settings successfully.

  1. Ethics theories in leadership professionalism.
  2. The relationship between ethics and Legalism.
  3. Ethics in public governance realm.
  4. African leadership practices in pre- and post-colonial. era in promoting ethics and accountability.
  5. Theories of decentralization, and Local governance for accountability.
  6. Democratic approach in managing organizations.
  7. Human right based approach in leading people centered management.
  8. Affirmative action’s approach in leading change and organizational growth. 

Participants’ learning conditions

·      Participants are adults who maybe holders of Bachelor Degree holders or Advance Diploma that have been approved by MS-TCDC and/or NACTE.

·      Participants may or may not have much knowledge of (Leadership Ethics and Accountability ) and therefore they will be taught through simple, step-by-step interactive approaches to enable every participant to understand fully the course content.

·      Participants not well conversant with Competency Based Education Training and Participatory learning method will be introduced to the learning approaches whereby every participant is given a chance to contribute and take part in group work and presentation activities.

·      Mindful that the language of instruction (English) may not be participants’ first language; simple, understandable English, and adjusted facilitation pace will be adopted as needed (Add where necessary)
